El3ab Privacy Policy

At El3ab, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Egyptian Data Protection Law (No. 151/2020) and applicable legal frameworks.

This Privacy Policy applies to the El3ab platform, including our consumer website, iOS applications, and venue operator dashboards. It explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how it is shared, and your rights over your information.

We only collect the data necessary to provide our marketplace services. This includes:

• Account Data: Phone number (used for authentication and OTP verification), your name, and your email address.
• Booking Data: The venues you book, specific setups selected (e.g., PC, PlayStation 5), party size, time slots, and booking status.
• Payment Data: We collect transaction IDs, payment methods, and amount details. We do not store full credit card numbers (PANs) on our servers; online payments are securely processed by our third-party gateway partners (e.g., Paymob, Fawry). For InstaPay, we may request screenshot evidence which is processed by our automated AI verification system.
• Venue Owner Data: For venue partners, we collect commercial registration documents, tax IDs, owner identity documents, and bank payout details. These documents are stored securely in our dedicated object storage.
• Device & Usage Data: Device type, OS version, push notification tokens, IP addresses, and generalized browsing behavior to help us secure the platform and improve user experience.

We process your data for the following purposes:

• Service Delivery: To authenticate you, process your bookings, and transmit booking details to the Venue.
• Payments & Refunds: To verify InstaPay transfers, facilitate online payments, and process refund claims.
• Security & Fraud Prevention: To detect account sharing, abusive booking behavior, or fraudulent payment activity.
• Communication: To send you transactional SMS or push notifications regarding booking confirmations, cancellations, or support updates.

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with:

• Venues: When you make a booking, the Venue receives your name, booking time, and setup requirements. Venues are strictly prohibited from using your data for independent marketing without your consent.
• Service Providers: We use trusted third-party cloud infrastructure (e.g., Google Cloud, Supabase) and authentication services (Firebase) to host and secure El3ab.
• Payment Processors: We securely transmit necessary transaction data to Paymob, Fawry, and our banking partners to process payments and refunds.
• Legal Authorities: We may disclose information if required by Egyptian law enforcement or regulatory authorities.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide you with the services.

Account Deletion: You may request to delete your account at any time through the Profile settings in the iOS app. Upon deletion, your profile data is removed. However, we are legally required to retain certain financial transaction records, support logs, and security data for auditing and dispute resolution purposes.

Depending on your jurisdiction, including under Egyptian law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications.
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements).
